American Armed Forces Conducts Deadly Strike in Eastern Pacific, Leading to Four Deaths

As stated by a high-ranking military official, the American armed forces executed a fatal kinetic engagement on a boat in the eastern Pacific, resulting in the deaths of four people.

“A US joint task force conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a craft operated by a terrorist group in open sea. Surveillance verified the vessel was transiting along a known narco-trafficking route and was engaged in illicit drug transport. A total of four male narco-terrorists were killed, and no American forces were harmed.”

Background and Recent Actions

This announcement follows a day after a declaration regarding a naval blockade of all targeted oil tankers entering and leaving Venezuela. In that announcement on online platforms, the American leader accused Venezuela of using oil revenues to fund narcotics smuggling and other crimes, vowing to escalate the military presence.

Only on Tuesday, the Pentagon said it had carried out strikes on three boats suspected of smuggling narcotics in the Pacific, leading to the deaths of eight people. Beginning on 2 September, more than 20 military engagements have resulted in the deaths of at least 99 individuals, the majority off the coast of Venezuela.

Administration Defends Actions Amid Scrutiny

The government has faced growing demands to make public video of a September 2nd vessel attack. However, officials have refused to do so. The administration has defended its efforts as a success, saying it has prevented drugs from reaching US shores and has pushed back on concerns that it is exceeding the limits of legal military action.

While the administration has stated the campaign is about stopping drugs destined for the US, remarks from a top official appeared to suggest a broader political objective. In a recent interview, the chief of staff said the leader “aims to keep on blowing boats up until the Venezuelan president cries uncle.”

This indicates the military campaign may be linked to a push to oust Venezuela's current government.
